I have a slightly different problem: I don't have a Windows partition as you suggested. However the partition is present. However, it won't show up at all. It isn't even listed as an option when I boot from the CD or even when I just restart the computer. I have tried Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (64 bit). I have even tried deleting the partition with Disk Management and restarting and installing Ubuntu. I have also tried installing Ubuntu 12.04 without any other OS's installed on the computer. I also checked all the BIOS options to make sure that it is booting from the CD drive and not the hard disk drive (I have a dual boot). I am using Ubuntu version 14.04 (Xenial Xerus). Any suggestions? 827ec27edc
