I have a rooted GALAXY S3 (GT-I9500) and the data was on there when I rooted it. I have done a complete factory reset and have also wiped my SD card. I would like to retrieve the original files on the memory card and on my phone. Is there any way I can do that?
Thanks. :)
Hi.

I was reading through some of the comments on the site and it seems that people are unhappy with PhoneRescue and I can understand why. It seems that PhoneRescue is a bit underpriced considering that I can see a lot of videos, but when I attempted to save the videos, the only option was to pay for the full version. I do not have any experience with the full version but have always used trial versions and I’m happy with them.
I am not sure what you mean by the greyed out videos. The videos are shown as they should be and not greyed out. I have never had this happen to me, I would suggest that you try to scan your phone again.
I think that the trial version is great, it’s very easy to use, simple and user friendly. It’s just that I did not like the fact that I could not save the videos that I see, so I will not be buying the full version. I wanted to try it out and see how it works and how it scans.
I have not had too many problems using PhoneRescue. I have had to enter some of the files that I had on my phone manually. I would suggest that you enter the videos manually as well. So, if you get a message that there is no media found, then you need to enter the media manually.
First, you should download the full version of PhoneRescue. Once you have done that, click on the ‘Scan Your Phone’ button again to run a free scan. After a minute or so, the scan will be complete. There is a section called ‘Recover Files’ where you can preview, save, or export the files PhoneRescue has found. 827ec27edc
